Evolution of Elevation
2006 · Mob Life Records
Released in 2006 on Mob Life Records, initially as an internet release before receiving a physical CD pressing. Produced entirely by Hella Tight, the album runs 13 tracks and features guests from Bizzy's 7th Sign circle. Lyrically it sits at the crossroads of street rap and syncretic spirituality, blending Christian and Islamic references with autobiographical reflection. Bizzy Bone has later described himself as a follower of Bay’ah, which he characterizes as a blend of different belief systems and religions. One of four solo albums Bizzy released in 2006, it represents the original, unaltered version of a body of work later repackaged multiple times.
