War of Roses
2021 · Self-released
Self-released on his 45th birthday as part of an annual September 12 tradition, this is widely regarded by fans as Bizzy's most cohesive and focused solo album since Heaven'z Movie back in 1998. Produced by C-Lance and a tight circle of collaborators, it channels the sinister, rapid-fire aesthetic of classic Bone Thugs with dark piano melodies, atmospheric beats, and Bizzy's trademark chopper flow deployed at full force. Lyrically it circles mortality, demons, and defiance throughout. Three months after its release, the infamous Verzuz brawl with Three 6 Mafia put Bizzy back in the spotlight nationally. Fun fact: Apart from Lil Bizzy and YBL Sinatra, the album artwork credits special guest appearances from Lil Ripsta, BB Gambini and Rest In Peace, which are all aliases used by Bizzy Bone himself.
"Enemy opps, Feeling me Glocks, Finna be shots."
