Uni5: The World's Enemy
2010 · BTNH Worldwide / Reprise Records
#14 Billboard 200
The first album featuring all five original members since BTNHResurrection a decade earlier, Uni5: The World's Enemy was a genuinely historic reunion. Getting all five of these large and turbulent characters into the studio together for a whole album was no small feat: Flesh-N-Bone had spent a decade in prison, Bizzy had been ousted from the group, and the intervening years had been marked by legal trouble and internal conflict. Released May 4, 2010, on their own BTNH Worldwide label distributed by Warner Bros., the album debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, selling 30,000 copies in its first week and over 90,000 copies in total. Production came from a team including Krayzie Bone, Thin C, Excel Beats, and Pooh Bear, leaning toward a more polished, contemporary sound than the group's classic work. Critics noted Bizzy's contributions as a particular highlight, lighting up every track he appeared on with his biblical perspective and unpredictable energy.
"We're ready for anything and we sing to make through it."
