BTNHResurrection

2000 · Ruthless Records

Platinum

#1 Billboard 200

Released on February 29, 2000 through Ruthless Records and distributed by Epic/Sony, BTNHResurrection reunited all five original members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for the first time since The Art of War. Most significantly, it marks the only album featuring Flesh-n-Bone as a full participant before his imprisonment in June 2000. Produced by Jimmy JT Thomas, DJ U-Neek, LT Hutton, and Darren Vegas, the album marks a deliberate sonic shift from the group's earlier work. Where DJ U-Neek's classic G-funk production defined their mid-90s peak, BTNHResurrection leans into darker, more atmospheric beats with heavier synths and a more polished, contemporary feel. The trademark rapid-fire flows and doo-wop harmonies remain intact, but the overall mood is more brooding and apocalyptic, reflecting a group navigating internal tensions and a changing musical landscape.

"Move faster and then ask 'em about the state of men and help the matter, Brace yourself, I can't tell if I'm in peril."
