Alpha and Omega

2004 · Bungalo Records

A fascinating and cryptic album that marked a significant shift in Bizzy Bone's musical and lyrical approach. Fans and critics responded positively to its spiritual depth and lo-fi production. The title references the biblical concept of God as the beginning and the end, a recurring theme throughout Bizzy's solo work. A masterpiece featuring guest appearances from members of Bizzy Bone’s group 7th Sign Regime. On “The Streets,” Bizzy’s 7th sign affiliate, best friend and foster brother Capo raps, “Twenty-two years and still counting…”, but he was tragically shot and killed before the album’s release. Bizzy later said: “After that happened I was thinking about quitting music, quitting rapping and singing and the whole thing. It went deep. It kinda messed me up for a while. But we go on, we got no choice.”

"Evidently this is real, but it don't barely feel, Let's do this studio grimey, quick 'fore I get killed"
